Jarhead Part 2

This book deals with a lot of trust issues and it is mentioned and shown through various happenings in the book. I personally like this aspect of the book because if I was away from as long as some of these guys had been and didn't know what was going on back home with my family and girlfriend I would start to lose my mind. The fascinating part is that different platoons within the USMC don't trust each other or would not do anything for another group. They are all fighting the same war against the same enemy and yet they all still can't trust each other. I don't know how could be angry at my girlfriend back home if I found out she was cheating with all the shit that they obviously do with the local women wherever they're stationed. It seems a bit hypocritical. If your girl can go without cheating for that long why can't you keep it in your pants.
